SCR Urea, DEF Urea

Description

Automotive-grade urea is the key raw material for producing AdBlue (DEF/AUS 32), a high-purity urea solution designed to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in diesel vehicle exhaust systems.

Our product features low biuret content and is free from aldehydes, ensuring the production of high-quality DEF that fully complies with ISO 22241 standards.

Risso produces SCR-grade urea, mainly from coal, with some sourced from natural gas. The process starts with industrial-grade urea, which undergoes purification, filtration, and dehydration to meet automotive-grade standards. Our strict quality control guarantees optimal performance in SCR systems for diesel engines.

Key Benefits
  • Massive NOx Reduction: SCR technology reduces harmful nitrogen oxide (\(NO_{x}\)) emissions from diesel exhaust by up to 90%.

  • Clean Byproducts: The chemical reaction breaks \(NO_{x}\) down into harmless nitrogen gas (N₂) and water vapor (H₂O).

  • Regulatory Compliance: Essential for heavy-duty trucks, buses, and modern diesel vehicles to meet strict international and local emission standards (such as EPA or Euro/BS6 rules).

  • Improved Fuel Efficiency: Optimizing the combustion process via SCR can improve fuel economy by 3% to 5%, which helps offset the ongoing cost of DEF.
